Your Guide to the Local Music Scene

LocalSound Ticketing

Ticketing for local shows, built into the place fans discover them.

Sell online, sell at the door, scan QR tickets, manage refund requests, and keep payouts tied to the event owner's connected Stripe account.

LocalSound platform fee is 2.1%. Stripe processing fees apply. Sellers choose whether buyer or venue covers fees.

Online and door sales

Sell tickets ahead of time, then keep selling from Ticket Booth when fans arrive.

QR check-in

Scan tickets from the app and keep door staff focused on moving the line.

Seller payouts

Ticket money flows through the seller's connected Stripe account, not a disconnected box-office account.

Order management

Review orders, check-ins, refund requests, in-person sales, and seller net from the same management flow.

Product Guide

A practical walkthrough, not a vague promise.

These previews mirror the LocalSound app and web experience. The seller Ticket Booth preview is interactive so venues can see how scan, manual check-in, and door sales fit together.

Buyer guide

From event page to QR ticket.

Buyers can use the website or the app. The core flow is the same: choose tickets, review the total and fee policy, enter delivery info, pay, then use emailed or in-app QR tickets at the door.

  1. Tap Purchase Tickets on an event.
  2. Choose ticket types and quantities.
  3. Review taxes, buyer-paid or venue-paid fees, total, and the non-refundable fee notice.
  4. Enter the ticket holder name and email for QR delivery.
  5. Pay through Stripe, then use My Tickets or email at the door.

Delivered tickets

Ticket email delivery gives buyers a backup path even when they do not want to use the app at the door.

Buying

Fans get a complete ticket path.

Buyers select tickets, review fees, enter delivery details, pay with Stripe, receive email delivery, and can find QR tickets under My Tickets.

Selling

Door staff can work from the app.

Ticket Booth starts with sellable events, then opens Scan, Manual, and Sell tabs for QR scanning, manual check-in, and in-person payments.

Managing

Sellers get web order control.

The website keeps Ticket Sales organized by upcoming and past shows, with order filters, check-in metrics, seller net, exports, and refund requests.

Why switch

Built for the local box office.

LocalSound is not trying to be a generic event warehouse. The ticketing flow is designed around the way local shows actually happen: online buyers, walk-up sales, door staff, managers, refunds, and discovery in one loop.

NeedLocalSoundTraditional platforms
Event discoveryBuilt into the LocalSound feed where local fans already browse shows.Often separate from the place fans discover the event.
SetupCreate the event, add ticket types, choose fee handling, and publish. Can require a separate seller portal or detached event page.
Door workflowMobile Ticket Booth supports sales, scanning, and admin review.Often requires extra hardware, extra apps, or manual lists.
Refund flowBuyers can request refunds, sellers can review them, and fees are clearly non-refundable.Refund policies can be hard to find or confusing for buyers.
Local focusDesigned around venues, promoters, artists, festivals, and neighborhood shows.Usually designed for larger tours and broad event categories.
