However, using the report feature does not guarantee action will be taken against the reported content. 4. Adding Bands and Venues - Request to Add: You can request to add your own band or venue. Our support team will verify the validity of the band/venue. Inaccurate information may be corrected via user reports. 5. Venue Activities - Event Posting: Venues can post events happening at their location and open gigs that bands can apply for. - Communication: Venues can chat with bands and other venues for planning purposes. - Social Media Links: Venues may attach their social media links to their profile. 6. Band Activities - Event Posting: Bands can post their upcoming events and apply for open gigs posted by venues. - Communication: Bands can reach out to venues and other bands. 7. Event Management - Event Details: Events include a date, location, image, genre, and parking information. - Management: Venues and bands are responsible for creating and managing their own events. - Content Guidelines: Graphic, explicit, or misleading content is prohibited and may be removed. 8. Information Accuracy All information provided on LocalSound is based on best effort and is unverified. Users, bands, and venues are responsible for the accuracy of their posted information. 9. User Conduct - Respectful Interaction: All users are expected to interact respectfully. Harassment, abusive behavior, or discrimination will not be tolerated. - Reporting Misconduct: Users can report inappropriate behavior or content, and we will take appropriate action. 10. Privacy and Data Use - Ads: Ads displayed on our website are not targeted using your personal data. - Email Privacy: Your email is private and not visible to other users. - Data Security: Your data is securely stored using Google Firebase. 11. Liability LocalSound is not liable for inaccuracies or misrepresentations in posted content. Use of our website is at your own risk. 11a. Ticket Purchases - Tickets purchased through LocalSound are sold by venues or festivals ("entities") using integrated Stripe payment processing. - All sales are final unless the event is canceled or the event time changes, in which case refund options will be offered through the app. - If an event is canceled and deleted from the app, entities are required to refund ticket purchasers. - If an event time changes in the app, affected ticket holders will receive an in app notification and the option for a refund. - LocalSound facilitates the ticketing process but is not the merchant of record and does not directly process or hold payments. - Users are responsible for storing and presenting their digital ticket (QR code) at the event. - Refund requests and policies are enforced by LocalSound based on event status changes but ultimately honored through the entity’s Stripe account. 12. Termination of Accounts Accounts may be terminated if falsified information or harmful behavior is detected. 13. Changes to Terms We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
