Small pieces of artwork created by children and young adults affected by childhood cancer come together to form a larger collaborative work celebrating help, hope, courage, and community. During Artown, visitors can explore the artwork, enjoy a specialty beverage with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, and engage with a custom coloring book page designed by The Hub’s marketing team to celebrate this unique partnership. “Gold Ribbon of Courage” honors the bravery of local childhood cancer warriors and invites the community to connect, reflect, and support, while highlighting the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation’s vital work supporting families from the moment of diagnosis, into survivorship, and beyond. Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation supports families in Nevada, north of Tonopah, whose children ages 0-25 have a confirmed childhood cancer diagnosis. We assist families from the moment of diagnosis, through treatment, and into survivorship and follow-up care. At NNCCF, our mission is to enhance the quality of life for children with cancer and their families by providing financial assistance and compassionate support programs, while advocating for increased research funding and raising public awareness.
