Quilt Show with music! Come and join us on Sunday afternoon, July 12th at Holy Cross Lutheran Church. We are excited to share our love of quilting, knitting and music. We will display quilts of all kinds - antique, classic and modern quilts while showcasing musical talent. Our quilt group will have a display of quilts in our Fellowship Hall - opening at 12:30 pm and closing at 4:00 pm. Starting at 1:00 pm our Musical Director, Brittney May, is presenting a variety of musical artists for your listening pleasure. Come and go between 1:00pm and 3:00pm to hear musical selections from Holy Cross choir, High Desert Harmony Chorus, The Note. Ables, Michael Tegio and Somethin' Else band, and other exciting performances. In 2025 we featured the Never Too Late Barbershop Quartet. Brittney May is also Associate Director of Choral Activities and lecturer of vocal arts at UNR, Artistic Director of Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus, and Artistic Director of the Great Basin Chorale. We are excited to share our passion for music and quilting, show you some specialty quilts, and tell you about our work. We can answer quilting and knitting questions. Many of our quilts and knitting items are distributed to agencies around Reno and the world. We will have a quilt/craft notions table for purchase. A donation will be accepted.
