LocalSound connects the city to the local stage
Following the right person used to be the only way to find out about a basement show or a late-night open mic. LocalSound flips that script—fans discover what is playing tonight, and artists reach the audiences right around them.

Built for the discoverers, venue owners, and comedians shaping the local scene.
Our story
LocalSound was born from missing out. In our early twenties we were bouncing between dive bars, open mics, and hidden comedy rooms across town—but keeping track of lineups was purely word-of-mouth. If you weren’t plugged into the right group chat, you never heard about half the shows happening that night.
We set out to build a home for the scene: a place where fans can see everything within a few miles in seconds, and where artists can list shows without a marketing budget. No pay-to-rise algorithms, just the events going live around you ranked by time and relevance.
Today LocalSound tries to match fans with local events every month—while keeping ticketing fees low and the spotlight on the community that deserves it.
What we believe
Equity at the mic
Free and ticketed shows receive the same visibility so smaller rooms and open mics can be discovered too.
Neighbors first
We highlight the artists, comics, and venues that make each neighborhood unique and keep a vibrant scene local.
Transparent fees
LocalSound caps ticket fees at 5% + $0.30 so more of every sale supports the talent on stage.
Help us amplify the next hometown headliner
